All counselling is free of charge and confidential

Child minding for individual counselling or group sessions may be arranged with sufficient notice.

The Women’s Counselling Program offers workshops, open and closed therapeutic groups at different times throughout the year. Our groups are designed for women who have experienced violence or abuse and are dealing with the impact of trauma.
This is a six-session workshop where women receive information about how trauma affects the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. The intention of the workshop is to provide education and support to help women heal and to develop coping strategies that increase inner strength and personal empowerment.
This is a twelve-session, closed therapy group for women who have completed Strategies for Empowerment and/or individual counseling in our program.
This is a four- week closed group integrating art and nature-based healing experiences. This group is for women who have completed Moving Beyond Trauma and/or individual stage two counseling in our program.

Please note that Women’s Counselling is not available to return calls on the weekend, and may not be able to respond immediately due to a high volume of calls.
