Haven Society's Board of Directors

Haven Society began in 1978 with a small group of women who refused to accept that there was nowhere safe to go. Nearly fifty years later, women, children and families still arrive at our doors looking for the same thing those founders fought for: safety, dignity, and a way forward.

Our Board of Directors carries that founding promise. They are the volunteers who make sure Haven is here for the next person who needs us, and the one after that, who keep the lights on, the doors open, and the work true to why it began. They give their evenings and their expertise so our staff and counsellors can give their full attention to the people in front of them.
