Why Membership in Haven Society Matters

As a member of Haven Society you have a voice in decisions made at our Annual General Meeting in September of each year. Haven’s strong and diverse membership demonstrates to funders and the broader community that our work to promote the integrity and safety of women, children, youth and families matters is important and vital.

Who Can Become a Member

General Members: General membership is open to women 14 and older who are not Haven employees. Subject to Bylaws 2.5 and 2.6 (see below), a general member is entitled to one vote.

Associate Members: Associate membership is for anyone who wants to be part of Haven's community and mission, regardless of gender or background.

Fees

Annual membership is $25 and is valid for the calendar year (January to December).
