Thank you to everyone who has reached out to Haven Society during this time. As you may have seen, rates of domestic violence may increase during this pandemic due to stresses brought on by job loss, isolation, and financial insecurity. We are doing everything we can to ensure that we are able to meet this increase in need for our services should it come. While it has been challenging, we have been working hard to ensure that we can continue to offer our vital services to our community.

We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who has reached out to ask how they can help us during this time. To meet the provincial guidance for physical distancing, we have had to alter our donations system which has significantly decreased the number of community donations we are able to receive. While we are no longer accepting in person donations or most material items, we are still graciously accepting:

As we are actively practicing physical distancing at Haven Society we ask that if you choose to make a donation that you do it over the phone or send it by mail. This ensures we keep the health and safety of you, our clients and staff, and the community in mind.
