Join us for the Take Back the Night March

We’re Walking Again — Save the Date!

Our last walk was a huge success, and thanks to the incredible community support, we’re doing it again — and expecting an even bigger turnout this time!

🗓️ March 4th
⏰ 5:00–7:00 PM
📍 Nanaimo

Join us for Take Back the Night, part of a powerful global movement with a long history of standing against sexual violence.

What began decades ago as a march addressing violence against women has grown into a worldwide call for change—uplifting and empowering survivors of all gender identities, backgrounds, and cultures.

💜 Hosted by Haven Society in Nanaimo

📍 Route Details - we’ll be meeting at Beban Park, in the parking lot next to the playground, walking towards QF and then along Bowen Rd, finishing at Haven Society.
We’ll gather at 5:00 PM, and the event will wrap up around 7:00 PM.

♿ Accessibility Note:
If joining the full walk is a barrier, you’re welcome to meet us directly at the Haven Society Community Services Building.

💜 Wear Purple!
Not required — but encouraged to show your support and solidarity.

This event is inclusive of all genders and family‑friendly.

Help us spread the word! Invite your friends, family, and community.
Together, we can amplify our message, support survivors, and take steps toward a future free from violence.

📸🎥 Please note: photos and videos will be taken during the walk.
